A quick update to remind you to remind your friends & colleagues that LooBlade is available on our website - looblade.com . You can sign up to our rewards scheme here: 

And please tell them you helped bring it to life! 

LooBlade Bamboo will be available by the Autumn/Fall for retail purchase also. 

We have circulated emails to the small number of Alloy/LooBlade for Life backers with options. Those went out 4 days ago. If you are a backer of that reward and you haven't received the email and survey, can you please:

1) check your spam

2) check your email address is up to date in the system, and

3) let us know. We'll get you sorted out quickly thereafter. 

Thanks to those who've already responded - your choices will have been actioned, and the LooBlades on there way. Those who have received the email and not yet responded, you will get a reminder soon.

Thanks again for the extraordinary patience and support throughout this project. You've helped create a product that is already selling around the world and growing in impact, plus getting great feedback. 

We will soon be organising the 'Founding supporters page' on our website for those who wish to be acknowledged for their kind contribution and support in bringing LooBlade to market. We'll put out an email survey to opt in, and look forward to your participation in that.

Retail availability on Bamboo

Just to clarify for those who've asked. It's going to be some months before we'll have Bamboo available for purchase on the website. We have a lot to do regarding planning and refining volume manufacture.

We expect the eventual retail price to be £39.95.

Bamboo - dispatch is in progress

Some of you will already have received your Bamboo pledges, and depending on where you are in the world you will be receiving or have received notification of dispatch and tracking via our fulfilment system. The final units should begin travel no later than next week, just to manage expectations, but rest assured all Bamboo backers are in the system and you're destined to get yours shortly :)

We're getting great feedback already, and we hope you'll feel they've been worth the wait! We're certainly proud of their quality and high-end 'feel'. 

Our sincere gratitude for your support and patience all the way.

Alloy trialing and testing is still on going and we'll update on that before month end.

LOOBLADE BAMBOO:

Secondly, many of you will be delighted to hear LooBlade Bamboo is now in the final stage of manufacture.

Delivery schedule:

Starting Tuesday, 9th May, 2017 we will begin global shipping of LooBlade Bamboo via our fulfilment partner James & James.

Within 48hrs of this date, you will receive an email from James & James with your order tracking number and delivery details. If you haven’t, please check your junk mail folder before contacting us at [email protected]

Delivery times from point of dispatch are typically: 

• UK: Allow 2-3 working days 
• Europe: Allow up to 5-7 working days 
• US: Allow up to 7-10 working days 
• Everywhere else: Allow up to 7-10 working days 

Changed delivery addresses: 

If your delivery address has changed since you pledged, please make sure you update your address within Kickstarter before Tuesday 2nd May, when your address will be locked down. If you have any issues doing this, please contact us at [email protected] before this date.

LOOBLADE ALLOY / LOOBLADE FOR LIFE

Happy New Year, and hello.

I’d like to introduce myself to you all...I’m Ryder, the Chief Design Officer at Spyglass Innovations. I joined Spyglass full time at the beginning of 2017.

Garry, Spyglass’s founder & CEO has asked me to step in and take complete control of operations and your order fulfilment, which I realise has been a frustrating wait.

I’ve spent the last week getting up to speed with the situation and resolving the problems causing delays to your order delivery.

Below I have outlined the upcoming schedule of events and summarised answers to questions you doubtless have. If you CLICK ON THIS LINK you will see a live document duplicating this post, to which I will add any new questions and answers, as well as any nuances to delivery schedules that may arise in global fulfilment.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS: 

A survey prompting you to confirm your delivery address was sent mid-December, if this address has changed, please email [email protected] and we will update your details.

Any change requests should be submitted by 23.59 Thursday 19th January, GMT. Thereafter, all delivery information will be locked down with our fulfilment partner James & James.

FULFILLMENT: 

Our fulfilment company, James & James has 3500 LooBlade products logged into their system and ready for dispatch.

Shipping will restart on Tuesday 24th January, once your final shipping details have been logged into James & James’s system for all submitted address updates.

Shipping will be in reverse, time-stamp order - so those backers who ordered first, will be delivered to first.

At the point that your delivery is about to be dispatched, you will receive an email from James & James confirming your delivery address, product order, parcel tracking number and estimated shipping time. (See below for Global shipping time estimates).

James & James estimate they can process at least 200 deliveries a day (Mon-Fri), so they estimate you will all have received confirmation of shipping within the next 2 weeks i.e. by Tuesday 7th February.

All deliveries in the UK and Globally are being shipped tracked and sent via Royal Mail, DHL, DPD FedEx or UKMail depending on what James & James deem most appropriate.

PACKAGING & MULTI ORDERS: 

Your LooBlade is being shipped in its retail packaging and then within a robust waterproof courier bag.

Each bag can carry up to 3 LooBlades. For customers who have ordered more than 3 LooBlades, your order will be boxed together and shipped.

LOOBLADE COLOUR PLUS LOOBLADE BAMBOO / LOOBLADE ALLOY: 

For customers who ordered a mixed order with LooBlade colour/s along with LooBlade Bamboo or LooBlade Alloy, we will be shipping your LooBlade Colour to you now.

When the LooBlade Bamboo and LooBlade Alloy is through manufacture we will deliver these to you under a separate delivery. I will provide separate manufacturing updates for these products as soon as I have more information.

DELIVERY DELAYS / DAMAGE: 

If for some reason your delivery is excessively delayed after shipping, does not arrive or is damaged on arrival, please contact us at [email protected] and we will resolve the issue with James & James.

All parcels will be sent using tracked delivery, so you can view their progress online by following the link in your dispatch email from James & James.

MISSED DELIVERY: 

If you are out when your order arrives, you should receive a card providing you with further information on how to collect/ reschedule your delivery.
